“Cross country mountain bike racing is one of the hardest things you will ever do, but when you finish, you are filled with…life.”

This is the first pieces of advice my husband, Zeppelin, gave me when I started racing. Since then, I have been handed more than I deserve from him.

Before I decided to try a race out, I was the support for Zeppelin at mountain bike races. We created so many amazing memories and traveled all over the states as he would compete in big endurance events. That all changed after I towed the line at a 6-mile beginner women’s race in 2011. After the moment I crossed that first finish line, he gave up everything for the light in my eyes and has dedicated himself to coaching me.
